As Handmade celebrates its 16th year in business, I am filled with gratitude and reflection on the incredible journey we've had together. I want to express my heartfelt thanks to each and every one of you who has been a part of this amazing ride, supporting us and keeping us in business.

Our mission has always been to keep your pants up and your clubs protected, and it's been a pleasure serving you in this unique way. However, life has a way of prompting reflection and change, and I'd like to share a personal journey that has led to a significant decision for Handmade.

In the challenging period between 2019-2020, I faced personal tragedies that made me question the purpose of my life's work. It was during this time that I experienced a profound shift in perspective. In honor of my late sisters' belief in charity and giving back, and inspired by the resilience of our veteran community, I have decided to make a change.

Starting now, Handmade will be donating profits from all internet sales to charity. I am thrilled to announce that I have taken on the role of Managing Director at Aya Mission, a veteran-founded charity committed to providing guidance and support to our Veteran community on their journey towards mental and spiritual well-being.

This decision stems from my deep love for our country (not necessarily our government or politicians) and my profound respect for those who have served in the military. Instead of merely lamenting the challenges our soldiers face post-service, Handmade is taking a proactive approach to make a difference. We will channel our efforts and resources to help fund veterans' recovery from PTSD, depression, anxiety, with the ultimate goal of reducing the alarming rate of suicide in the military community.

Thank you for being a part of the Handmade family. Together, we can make a positive impact on the lives of those who have sacrificed so much for our freedom.

Warm regards,

Patrick
